The Ossington strip is home to many of Toronto’s hidden treasures, but some of them not so hidden anymore. Sandwiched between other shops is Bang Bang Ice Cream & Bakery. The storefront isn’t particularly big. In fact, you might even miss it while walking by, but what you won’t miss is the enormous line up outside of Bang Bang.

The local ice cream shop really tests the limits of ice cream, with otherworldly flavours that you can’t even begin to imagine. Choose between the Burnt Toffee, Avocado, Passionfruit Milk Chocolate, and many more. You can have your ice cream served in a cone or cup, but you’ll rarely see anyone order that when you can have your choice of exotic ice cream flavour sandwiched in between two cookies of your choice. It’s going to be a tough decision but the outcome will always be absolutely delicious. My personal favourite is the macaron ice cream sandwich – two of the world’s best inventions in one. Stop by the shop, build your own ice cream sandwich, and figure out why they’re called Bang Bang. Make sure you pick a good time to go because you may find yourself in quite the line up.

Bang Bang will change your life, and once you try it, you’ll never crave ice cream from anywhere else again.
