Wearing all white can easily cross the line from classy to trashy, and can make you easily blend into the next. We want to make sure even in a sea of tens of thousands you will stand out with the hottest trends and most fashionable white items that one of the cities top stylists helped pick out just in time for this year’s SENSATION party that is happening November 29.

Kate Corbett is represented by Plutino Group which is the nations leading agency for stylists, hair & makeup artists, models, and pretty much the best of the best with anything to do with fashion! Some of Kate’s clients include Canada’s Next Top Model, MTV, So You Think You Can Dance Canada, The Marilyn Denis Show, HBC, Holt Renfew, and the list goes on!

This is what Kate had to say:

“The pre-existing fashion guidelines of ‘when’ or ‘where’ you can wear white, have been long outdated and overruled by the tastemakers of today and it’s now seen as cutting edge to wear white in the off season. White is timeless and sophisticated and is finally chic year around! You need to be conscious of shape, fabric, detail and texture for a white-out look that works. Focus on one key element for your attire, for instance, a fitted dress with cut-out details or a two piece ensemble that shows some skin in the midsection.  The best and easiest way to pull it off is to keep it simple and let the look speak for itself. Some of the trends we are seeing on the runway are lace, fringe and sheer fabrics. We are also seeing styles such as crop tops paired with high wasted skirts, loose, flowy bohemian dresses and simple, understated clean lines. When making your footwear selection a heavy black pump can seem kind of odd when paired with a lightweight dress, so its best to stay with a neutral or white tones to keep the look balanced. Sneakers have also made a huge comeback this year. A modern way to wear them is to pair it with a short skirt or dress for a sporty chic look but will keep you dancing till the sun rises. When it comes to accessories, silver and metallics feel very modern and chic, while golds tend to warm up the look, both work and add a beautiful touch to an all white ensemble, pair this look with a red lip and you are good to go! Whether you are a traditionalist or fashion rebel the choice is truly yours and it’s a risk we encourage you take.”
