It’s finally happened; TIFF has arrived! You know what that means Toronto. The hottest celebrities are in town to celebrate this year’s selection of captivating new films, and there are long lasting parties aplenty! We’ve got the inside tips about where to spot your favourite movie stars and where you can party all night long in the city! TIFF began last night and the festivities kicked off with exclusive parties such as the Official TIFF Opening Party at Maple Leaf Square and the Drake Hotel’s Down The Line launch party from 9PM-4AM featuring a performance by Keys N Krates. Here’s a breakdown of what the rest of the TIFF evenings have in store:

Friday, September 6th
Only Lovers Left Alive Premiere Party
This cast party at The Courthouse follows the premiere of Jim Jarmusch’s latest film. The event will feature a performance by The Sadies, and the red carpet begins at 10PM.

Goodnight Gansevoort at C-Lounge
This Vegas themed party will act as an after party for the cast of “Hateship Loveship” starring celebs like Kristen Wiig and Guy Pearce. The party will go late into the evening featuring a casino, show girls and even a pool side bar.


A Clockwork Orange
As an homage to the cult classic by Stanley Kubrick, this party at Adelaide Hall will feature art installations, light projections, Clockwork inspired mannequins and DJ’s to provide the soundtrack of the evening. Tickets are $17 in advance or $20 at the door.

This classy event will be taking place at the TIFF Bell Lightbox itself on the rooftop during the opening weekend. This exclusive party serves alcohol until 4AM.

Saturday, September 7th

Hello! Hollywood
This extremely exclusive dinner event at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel will be followed by a late night party. This private engagement will celebrate the international talent rolling into town for TIFF.


Matt Damon’s well-known charity will be hosting its annual party at Story’s featuring an appearance from Patricia Arquette.

Sunday, September 8th

Canadian Film Centre BBQ
This networking event allows people within the film industry to mix and mingle will plenty of alcoholic beverages, food and pumping music throughout the night. The event takes place at The Canadian Film Centre and is invite-only.

The Festival Music House
Adelaide Hall will host a private two-night showcase for new Canadian music, including performances from Dragonette, The Darcys, July Talk, Diamond Rings and Maylee Todd.

Artists for Peace and Justice Film Festival Launch
George Stroumboulopoulos, Diane Bald, Michael Budman and Paul Haggis co-host this annual charity lunch at The Budman Family Residence. There will be celebrity appearances and musical performances, but tickets are a whopping $1,250. Would you invest in this hot TIFF party?

Monday, September 9th

Entertainment One Party
This production company will be celebrating their 29 films screening at TIFF 2013. More than 1,000 invite only guests from the film industry will walk the blue carpet into this exclusive elegant party at the Roundhouse. The blue carpet begins at 9:30PM.

Filthy Gorgeous: The Bob Guccione Story at Cube
The cast and crew of ‘Filthy Gorgeous’, a documentary about the founder of Penthouse Magazine, will host its after-party at CUBE nightclub at 8:30PM.

Tuesday, September 10th

The Reel Canadian Party
To commemorate the golden age of cinema, First Weekend Club will host a private part at The Media Bar beginning at 6PM. This event will honour a decade of promoting wonderful films featuring jazz performances and elegant guests.

Wednesday, September 11th

Camera Call: Birks Diamond Tribute to the Year’s Women in Film
This event will honour ten Canadian women who have either made important acting or directing impacts at this year’s TIFF. The red carpet begins at 4PM into Maison Birks Bloor St West.

Saturday, September 15th

TIFF Closing Night Gala
Roy Thomson Hall brings Toronto their final opportunity to celebrate TIFF with a 1970s Motown theme. However, most celebs have retreated back to Hollywood by this time of the week. 2,000 guests and volunteers are expected to show for one last roaring good time.

Many venues across the city will have extended liquor licenses until 4AM to celebrate the closing of TIFF, such as Uniun, Patria, The Everleigh, Weslodge, F-Stop, Marben, EFS and almost every luxury hotel.
