Born in Kalimazoo, Michigan, Seth Troxler and his family moved to suburbia Detroit at the age of 14. It was in Detroit where Troxler experienced, first hand, the city’s rich musical background and began to work on his musical footprint, first through attending Detroit’s infamous underground techno raves during the 90s, then by hosting his own underground parties-even managing to book Magda to play for him at only 15 years old. Finally, Troxler officially began his DJ career in 2002 at the ripe young age of 16 as a frequent DJ at Detroit club The Works and as a clerk at Detroit’s well known Melodies and Memories record store. Through working at Melodies and Memories, Troxlar met his partners in crime, Ryan Crosson, Lee Curtis and Shawn Reeves, who assisted him in throwing his many raves notoriously known as Tesh Club parties and would later become his future label mates.

Following his high school graduation, Troxler was invited on a European tour, where he played at German clubs, notably Panorama Bar and Robert Johnson. Troxler decided to move to Berlin, Germany subsequently after completing his degree in America, which allowed Troxler to flourish into the current DJ and producer who continuously awes the EDM world with his masterful mixes and tracks.

Troxler has treated many electronic music enthusiasts to his outstanding work through his countless international shows , playing at some of the world’s biggest clubs and festivals, most noticeably Fabric, Tenax, MUTEK, , Panorama Bar, Watergate, Robert Johnson, Detroit Electronic Music Festival, The Rex, Fuse, Avalon, Glastonbury, Sonar GlastonburyCoachellaSónar and Burning Man and The End Up, to name only a few. Along with being a local at the Berlin’s highly acclaimed Club der Visionre, the DJ mastermind also throws parties every 2 month, is a resident DJ at Berlin Weekend Club, and Cityfox’s new club Alte Borse in Zurich, with friends Ryan Crosson and Shaun Reeves, who, under the Visionquest, have assisted in the hosting of the “Need is Say More” old Miami party, DEMF’s most anticipated after hours party since being organized back in 2006.

Together with Ryan Crosson, Lee Curtis and Shawn Reeves, Troxler plays as part of Visionquest, a DJ collective and record label. The quartet of DJs embarked on their Visionquest Thirteen world tour in 2013, where they took over a number of clubs with their night long multi-level DJ performances. Troxler’s constant touring secured his position at the top of the DJ charts and earned him a spot on Resident Advisor’s Top 100 DJs poll.
