Rick Ross Storms Toronto Amy McConaghy June 12, 2014 CONCERTS & LIVE SHOWS, Hip Hop, Music, Shows American hip-hop singer, songwriter, Rick Ross, has Toronto revved-up for his June 15th appearance at The Kool Haus. The “Best Male Hip-Hop Artist” nominee has been traveling through North America celebrating his sixth studio album Mastermind, released earlier this year. Despite fan upset over the delayed release of the new album, Ross is having no problem filling up venues across the country. His heavy beats and fiery lyrics make Ross’s rap songs nothing less than memorable. His music makes him a top influence in the rap industry and has given him the opportunity to partner up with several other popular acts including Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Ne-Yo and T-Pain. Just finishing up his latest album, starting on tour, and recently replacing Ozzy Osbourne as a columnist for Rolling Stone has left the well known, normally relaxed rapper with his plate full. Still, it is next to impossible to flip through rap or hip-hop stations without hearing Ross’s unmistakable sound, making his growing success undeniable. Tickets are available on Ticketmaster for the show where Ross is set to take the stage at 9p.m.
