Toronto Island is the perfect getaway to end off this long weekend’s festivities, and who wouldn’t want to explore the island, with the perfect view of Toronto’s skyline, some amazing food, a fully licensed bar, and of course some proper music to top it all off.

Platform, Embrace & Coda who put on some of the best event’s in the city present Electric Island which has proven to be one of Toronto’s favourite outdoor music events and hands down one of the summer’s top events to attend. With each event getting bigger and better, Electric Island Concert & Picnic is back again this upcoming Tuesday July 1, with their Canada Day edition, and let’s just say this line-up is one nobody will want to miss. We guarantee you the sounds of house and techno at its finest will run through your bones beginning to end.

The Martinez Brother’s are on top of the music scene right now, head-lining every major festival around the globe and the duo will be making a welcomed stop on the island alongside German heavyweights Dixon, Henrik Schwarz and DJ Tennis who will keep the island grooving into the night with an array of deep, soulful and energy fueled sets. Local talent like Jeff Button, Nature of Music and Night Vision will be playing as well, guaranteed to prove why Toronto is pumping out world class musical talent.

Electric Island runs from 1:30pm- 10:30pm and you can make your way there via the Centre Island ferry which runs approximately every 30 minutes leaving from 9 Queens Quay West.
