beer_alcohol_binge_drinking_silhouette_2_3_4_N2It’s 1:45 a.m. and you hear the DJ say, “last call at the bar!” What happens? Well, I’m guessing that you and your friends look at each other and say, “WTF? I want to keep partying.” At this point, you think that you’ve been left with very few options—go home, party at a friend’s house, grab some grub, or roam the streets of downtown T.O.  Fortunately for you, you do not have to be faced with these options any longer! To your surprise, not all of Toronto bars close early, and the 416 does have its share of bars that stay open extremely late! Where are two of these hot spots? Check them out below!

Sneaky Dee’s:

This popular restaurant and bar is located at 431 College Street and it is home to a lot of hilarious events, great food and an overall good party. Despite this place being the hangout of choice for Toronto’s young adults who would rather not associate with ‘popular culture’, Sneaky Dee’s is extremely welcoming to all types of people—old, young, happy, sad, drunk, sober, etc. What’s my favourite thing about Sneaky Dee’s? They have my favourite nachos in the city of Toronto. These chips are messy, greasy and cheesy; just the way I like them! The best part about this place is that it allows you to party all night, as it is open until at least 3 a.m.! As the Pitbull song states, “Don’t Stop The Party” and hit up Sneaky Dee’s for some grub, drinks, dancing and fun!

The Dance Cave:

This popular club is located on the second floor of Lee’s Palace on 529 Bloor St W. Many memories have been made for me at The Dance Cave, such as numerous dance-offs with friends and getting tooooo drunk! The Dance Cave plays so many different types of music, such as songs from the American Pie soundtrack, Michael Jackson’s mega hits, rock anthems, top 40, 90’s classics and more. If you’re ever with a big group of people that all share different music tastes, you must go to The Dance Cave because it caters to everyone’s music preferences. The best part about this place is that it’s open really late. If you ask around, you will notice that The Dance Cave is ‘supposed’ to close at around 2 a.m., but I have never left this place earlier than 3 a.m. and for the most part, the bar stays open until at least 2:30 a.m. as well!

Next time you’re frustrated with our party city’s early last call times, remember that not all bars are destined to an early close and there are many bars and clubs that keep the drinks comin’ until at least 2:30 a.m.! Clearly, two of my favourite bars that are open late in T.O. are Sneaky Dee’s and The Dance Cave—both of which can guarantee you fun-filled late nights.
