Hone Fitness: $10/Month Gym Julie Li October 18, 2014 Health and Fitness, LIFESTYLE Wait, what? $10 a month gym? Yes, you read that right! The ease of fast food restaurants with inexpensive menus makes it hard to maintain a healthy diet. The temptation of McDonald’s, Popeyes, and Burger King is around every corner and it’s hard not to give in. Hone Fitness focuses on community and affordability. It shouldn’t cost you a $50+/month to work off your $5 meal. The gym is the perfect place to start and it’s time to kick the misconception of expensive gym memberships. Hone Fitness is Toronto’s very first $10/month gym. There’s no enrollment fee and they don’t require you to sign on a one year membership or anything of the sort – it’s a no commitment membership. So, that means even if you’re making minimum wage, it costs less than an hours worth of work for a membership to the gym for an entire month. With a price like that, there’s no excuse not to have a gym membership. So you’re thinking, “$10 a month? It must be a small gym…” But here’s where you’re wrong. Hone Fitness is three levels goodness that houses tanning machines, massage chairs, 80 pieces of cardio equipment, 80 strength machines, a cross fit training room, a free weights section and more! It doesn’t matter if it’s your first time at the gym or if you’re a regular, because there’s room for everyone at Hone Fitness. Plus, Hone Fitness just opened on July 2 so all the equipment is brand new! Also available is an Orange Membership, which is still extremely affordable at $20 a month and it allows unlimited guest privileges, half-price cooler drinks, a functional training zone, and other additional benefits. Their focus is on community and affordability; you shouldn’t have to dish out a fortune for trying to be healthy! If you’ve already got a gym membership, I’d consider switching ASAP because a deal this great can’t be found anywhere else. Visit 7 Isabella St. (Isabella St. & Yonge St.) to enroll now, or do it online. They are open Monday – Friday from 10a.m. – 8p.m., Saturday from 10a.m. – 4p.m. and closed on Sundays. Hone Fitness expects to be ready for its guests by September. For more information, visit their website and Facebook page to keep up to date.
